The Servok is the one you can change your mind on halfway through. Every other machine we sell makes you stop, get up and undo a bolt if you want it deeper. If that has never once annoyed you, buy a Premium and spend the difference on attachments.
The Bolt
Here's how it goes with every other machine. You get set up, you get going, and a few minutes in you want it deeper. So you stop. You get up. You find the butterfly screw, loosen it, slide the thing along, do it back up, get back into position. And the mood you were in four minutes ago is somewhere in the next room.
The Servok doesn't do that. You change the depth from your phone while it's still running. That's the whole pitch. Everything else about it follows from that one thing.
It's Quietly Two Machines
Wind it all the way down to its shortest setting and something unexpected happens. It stops thrusting and starts buzzing.
At the bottom of its range the stroke is under two centimetres and moving quickly, and your body stops reading that as in-and-out and starts reading it as vibration. HiSmith calls this Thrust-VB Mode, which is a dreadful name for a genuinely good idea.
So it can start as a vibrator and go all the way up to full depth without you touching it. That is the actual argument for this machine, and it's buried at the bottom of a spec sheet where nobody will ever find it.
Fast and Deep Are the Same Dial
This is the thing to understand before you compare it to anything else, because the marketing on every machine in this category leans on it.
The shorter you set the stroke, the faster it goes. Wind it out to full depth and it slows right down, because the rod has further to travel each time. You do not get maximum speed and maximum depth together. Nothing does. Any machine advertising one enormous speed figure is quoting you the short-stroke number and hoping you don't ask.
The Servok publishes both ends honestly, which is more than most manage.
Living With It
It goes to 17 cm, which is the deepest HiSmith makes and further than most people will ever want. Good. It's better to have the top of the range and not need it.
It weighs about 15 kg and that's the point, not a complaint. A light machine walks across the floor when it's working. This one stays where you put it. The frame comes apart and winds up to bed height, so you're not stuck on the carpet.
It handles the heaviest silicone we stock without breaking a sweat, which is not true of everything in the range. It plugs straight into the wall, no adaptor, no travel plug nonsense.
Two things I'd want to know before it arrived. It runs off the app and not a physical remote, so a flat phone is a flat machine, which is worth a thought if you're the sort of person whose phone is always on four percent. And there's a waterproof bag in the box, which is worth reading twice: the bag is waterproof. The machine is very much not.
Is this you? If you've ever stopped mid-session to move a bolt and resented it, this is the machine that fixes that, and nothing else we sell does. If you set a machine once and leave it there, honestly, the Premium will make you just as happy.
Safety, Because It Really Does Reach
This machine goes further than anything else in the range, and a machine doesn't notice when you've had enough. That's the appeal and it's why this bit exists.
- Set the depth with it switched off for the first few sessions. Yes, the entire point is that you can change it live. Learn what the settings feel like before you start playing with them mid-session.
- Start at the shortest stroke and work up. Not the middle. The maximum is real and the machine will cheerfully give it to you.
- For anal, Christine's rule: flared base, no exceptions, and start smaller than you think you need to. The rectum doesn't self-lubricate, so use far more water-based lubricant than feels sensible, and then use some more. Stop on sharp pain. Bleeding means stop and see a doctor.
- No numbing products. Pain is the thing that stops you doing damage, and a machine will keep going long after you've lost the ability to notice it should have stopped.
- Never move an attachment from anal to vaginal use without washing it properly or changing the condom.
- Water-based lubricant only with silicone attachments. Silicone lube eats silicone.
- Keep it dry, and let it rest on long sessions. The maintenance guide covers the greasing that keeps it quiet, which most owners never do because nobody tells them.
Put water-based lubricant in the same order. You'll get through more than you think, and you'll want it on day one rather than Tuesday.
Why Buy From Pleasing Strings
We hold HiSmith stock in Brisbane and Melbourne, so it ships from inside Australia rather than sitting on a boat for six weeks, and the plug is the right one out of the box. Order before 10am and it goes out the same day. Shipping is free over $99, and it turns up in plain, unbranded packaging with a discreet billing descriptor.
Every machine carries a one-year warranty and your Australian Consumer Law rights sit on top of that. The HiSmith machines and accessories range keeps the machines and the parts that fit them in one place. On something this size, a warranty claim being a phone call rather than a freight problem is most of the reason to buy it locally at all.
